Privacy Policy
Who we are
Sundog Aerial LLC is a drone photography and video business based in Broomfield, Colorado. In this policy, "Sundog Aerial," "we," "us," and "our" mean Sundog Aerial LLC.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website at sundogaerial.com, our online estimate tool, our emails and phone calls, and the photos and video we capture on jobs.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics on our website.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to quote, book, deliver, and bill for our work.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, health information, or financial account numbers. Please do not send them to us.
Aerial photos and video
Our work is photographing and filming property from the air, and sometimes inside a home. Some things outside the job can end up in frame, such as neighboring homes, vehicles, or people passing by. We do not use our photos or video to identify, track, or profile anyone.
When we show our work in our portfolio, on our website, or on social media, we follow these rules:
- We never publish a street address in a caption or file name.
- We remove location data from every image file before it goes online.
- We do not publish an image of an identifiable child unless the client has confirmed in writing that a parent or guardian agreed.
- We do not post a paying client's work until the client has agreed to it under our Services Agreement.
If you see yourself, your child, your vehicle, or your property in something we published and want it removed or blurred, email us at contact@sundogaerial.com. We will take it down or edit it promptly.
Who owns and can use the photos and video we create for a client is covered by our Services Agreement, not this policy.
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your estimate request and answer your questions
- Schedule, plan, and carry out flights, including checking airspace and site access
- Deliver your photos and video
- Send invoices and keep accurate business and tax records
- Arrange insurance certificates when you ask to be added as an additional insured
- Meet our legal obligations, including FAA record keeping
- Protect our business and resolve disputes
We only send you emails about your estimate, booking, or job. We do not send marketing newsletters.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We share it only with the people and services that help us run the business:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Cookies and tracking
Our website does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels.
The only cookies you may get come from the video players. We embed Vimeo videos with its "do not track" setting turned on, and any YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. These settings limit what the players collect, but Vimeo and YouTube still receive basic technical details when a video loads or plays. Their own privacy policies explain how they use that information.
Because we do not track visitors across websites, our site does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How long we keep it and how we protect it

The accounts we use to store your information, our email and our website host, are protected with two-step sign-in. Access is limited to the people who need it, and the providers we use encrypt data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information, unless we need to keep it for legal, tax, or contract reasons
- Remove or blur published photos or video that show you, your child, or your property
Email contact@sundogaerial.com with your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will respond within 45 days.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so on our website.
